Experience: Bernard leads the irrigation design group at KTU+A in providing irrigation services in design, construction management, system renovation, feasibility studies, master plans, and system management for projects involving municipalities, government agencies, developers, homeowners, and land owners with habitat restoration. Utilizing water conservation principles, in combination with many years of experience helps meet the goals for each project. Having a plant material background enables Bernard to most appropriately match irrigation requirements with plant needs.
Bernard is involved with government agencies and municipalities in creating guidelines for water conservation. With water being a most precious resource, he promotes efficient irrigation technology and irrigation practices.
Bernard volunteers time to civic projects and friends’ landscape and irrigation projects. In his spare time he enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hiking, volleyball, softball, gardening, cooking, photography, reading and writing.
