KTUA Welcomes Jerod Huwa
Jerod Huwa has joined KTUA as an Associate in the Landscaping Department. He has experience managing a wide variety of projects including parks, campuses and healthcare facilities, streetscapes, mixed-use development, and urban design projects. He enjoys working with clients to refine design ideas and brings an in-depth understating of planning, conceptual and detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration to each project he’s entrusted with. He also specializes in hand rendering and computer productions that help clients visualize projects before they are constructed.
Jerod benefits from having worked on projects throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Florida prior to moving to southern California. He has a passion for improving the built environment and working as a team to create meaningful, memorable spaces that connect people to their surroundings.
Kurt Carlson, Senior Principal, says “Jerod comes to KTUA by way of Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources department, Florida and before that working at BHA, Inc. a landscape architecture firm in Fort Collins Colorado. During his career, which spans over 13 years practicing his craft as a Landscape Architect in both States, he has won a number of design awards and honors. He has had a passion for art and illustration since his high school days when he ran a small successful art business that helped pay for college. We are very excited to have such a talented and passionate Landscape Architect join our family and look forward to furthering his accomplishments at KTUA!”
